iPhone Mania

In case you haven't noticed, iPhone Mania is officially underway. So, I did someIphone research to find out just how out of control things are for this product. Here are some of the interesting things that I found.

On eBay there were people selling Yahoo! and Gmail e-mail addresses starting at $0.99. The e-mail addresses were gobbled up for free and then resold to those looking to profit from the successful launch of the iPhone. (Example: unlocked_iphone@email.com) In addition, domain names are being sold as well (ATT-iPhone-Sale.com). This domain was on sale for $1,500.

A Google Search of iPhone returned 104 million results.

Here is a link to a great article on Bloomberg.
